Apparently Gilt, Amazon and eBay are actively looking at potential acquisition targets. Vente-Prive alone should be in the $1.5 - 2 billion range. Some sources even gauge Vente-Prive in the $2 - 4 billion ballpark.
Vente-Prive was late to take a foothold in the US market. In particular, the financially strong Gilt Groupe from the US is turning into a serious competitor.
